What we collect and why

• Prayer requests: name, email, topic and the request itself, so we can pray with you and reply. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in running this ministry.
• Contact messages: name, email, subject and message, so we can respond to you. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Offerings: name, email, phone number and the amount given, so we can process and acknowledge your gift. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligation (records and tax).
• Technical data: IP address, device and basic usage information, for security, fraud prevention and improving the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Who we share data with

• Hosting, database and email service providers acting on our instructions.
• Pesapal, our payment processor for donations by mobile money and card, who handles payment processing and receipts.
• Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data and we never publish a prayer request without permission.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

Retention

Prayer requests and contact messages are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised. Giving records are kept for as long as required by financial and tax law.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Write to us through the contact page and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and hosted infrastructure with appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to run the site and to complete checkout. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then not work.
